Day nine
Nablus

Quite possibly the fastest soap wrapper in the world.

In Sahar's photo, you can see that Nablus has little time to recuperate when Israeli tanks still roll through the city to cause their destruction.

Day ten
Hanna and Arnon worked very hard to throw together an ad hoc meeting of Israeli students with students from Bir Zeit University at a house in Ramallah. These meetings then continued throughout the summer. It seems much progress is being made.

Arnon spoke to everyone at the meeting. I think Amira Hass showed up too, but I missed her :(

Sarah and I couldn't stick around for too long. We left the ffipp delegation with the Israeli students to Tel Aviv. Then we took a train up to Haifa. Sarah took this photo of me with a relative I never even knew I had.

The B'hai temple in Haifa is so beautiful that we almost converted.
